Leggings Parade

aiks....its been soooo long since i last updated my blog...so sorry...been busy lately and not quite in the mood for blogging...T.T

anw, i just got back from sunway pyramid again...after our fun and crazy LEGGINGS PARADE!!!!lol...its the second so-call-parade we, the zoo gang, organised for ourselves...haha...the last time we had a TRADITIONAL COSTUME PARADE...wearing sari, kimono, cheongsam and all...walking around the shopping mall....haha...
just for you to recall the last parade, dear 'zoo-gangers'...this is a picture taken on that particular day...there's even foreign tourists who took photo with us!!!

cute huh???what a memorable day...haha...

So this time...we wear LEGGINGS instead and did the same thing again...too bad dear crystal can't join us today...again...T.T...coz i heard that she's still sick...

Anw, for the Leggings Parade a.k.a 'Lala Parade' (though none of them agree with me that its lala...aiks), i tied my hair into two pigtails (something i've never none in almost 7 years and finally have the oppurtunity to do so... just to suite with my 'lala' appearance...hee...)...wore BIG star shaped earrings...silver doll sandles...mini jeans skirt...a kinda lala shirt....n wear black LEGGINGS borrowed from leng hue...aiks...most of them wore dresses...shen wore HIGH HEELED BOOTS(wow!)...and leng hue wore...slippers..............haha...but we made her buy a high heels at the end to suite her leggings...

so our schedule today is like singing at red box...took some photos...walked around shopping for leng hue's shoes...took more photos...then watch bride wars (its a story bout some women who can be VERY desperate when it comes to planning their wedding...so scary...haha...) then took photos again....then chaoz...haha....

here's a few pictures i've taken:

hmph...kinda blurr huh???aiks...i'll upload more qualitied pictures next time...sorry...

rain rain go away..........

hmm...its been raining a lot lately, so its a suprise when i saw the sun today...anw, today i was almost thoroughly WET when i got home by bus...yup, rain started pouring down just when i decided its a sunny day to take bus home...the 'wet journey' began like dis....

actually, i can just follow my neighbour's transport home today, but just for the fun of it, i decided to take bus home with my fren, since i realised it may be de last time i ever take bus home with my shi fu-sy...hmmm...anw, the weather was good when we left the school..however, as we walk, the sky got darker and  more cloudy...when we reach the bus stop, metro 10 just left=.=...fine, we'll wait then...i've no idea why all buses are especially late today...so when the next bus arrived, its half an hour later...too bad its rapid 63, my fren couldn't get home by that bus, and we wanted to leave together...so, we continue waiting...around 5.15pm, we got on rapid 67...and its already starting to RAIN...yish...what a perfect timing...

the rain seemed to pour down even more heavily as we traveled...some how, maybe because of my impatience, i still decided to get down at the usual place( the traffic light nearest to my house)...despite de heavy rain and the open air...if i had been wiser, i should get off at pyramid and ask my sis to pick me up...anw, i got off the bus, with sy being my 'bodyguard' as usual , sharing lam lam's super small umbrella (which didn't block a single drip of rain from falling on me)...to make the matter worse, it rained more heavily than ever, and i got home soaked in acid rain...immediately i took bath n sy made a phone call...hmmm...then sy wasn't able to get home because his mum had no car with her...he planned to wait the rain to subside so that he could walk home...so he stayed at my house for a while...and solved hui's rubix cube=.=... until my sis offered to send him home...which solved all the problem!!!haha...

what an unnecessary, stupid, wet n fun bus trip....lol...

HUNTING for 'eclipse'

hmmmm....let me explain bout the title 1st...i started the 'hunting' on friday...its a book that i'm hunting for...the book entitled 'eclipse', by stephanie meyer, from twilight series...

so, i gave up on blogging about the class party, sorry bout that...but i'm really lazy to update every event...lol...anw, i started my hunting last friday...i was having mood swing that day, mostly because i sensed something that i dread will happen one day is finally happening (after my fren kinda accidentally hinted or tipped off the news to me)...thus, after the tiring and exhausting and frustrating practice of that day, i was counting on the book 'eclipse' to distract me from thinking of the unhappy event...instead, what i got is more frustration, they told me the book is out of stock!!!its so unbelievable and unaccepatable...fine then, i told myself, i left the stupid popular bookshop at sunway pyramid and went to mph...and the shocking news i got was the book is still out of stock!!!great...nth to distract me...so there ends my emo day...i got much better on the following day, after i kinda got the confirmation of what i dreaded had really happened, i thought i would be even more upset by the news...but seemed like the confirmation is all i need, and i actually felt better...i had a good mood and i knew i can handle it better than the last time...i already knew sth like that would happen one day, i don't know when, but when time comes, it'll happen anw... i don't believe things would really last forever...anw, lets get back to the story of hunting eclipse!!!

hmmm, i continue the hunt today... i went to 1-U, and i was confident that the bookstores here are more realiable than those at sunway...anw, i got more disappointment when both popular n mph fail me again, there won't be any book of twilight series until two weeks later...my sis overheard a couple who was enquiring the same book at the counter, and heard that most of the bookshops are out of stock too...and there's only 11 books left at mph in the Curve...yish...more bad news =.= then, i watched the twilight movie again today, with my family...hmmm...edward's handsomeness cheered me up a lot...lol..then, dad asked us if we wanna go to giant or tesco...i was immediately elightened by the suggestion, the curve is located right next to tesco!!!so, i hurry my dad to tesco, no matter how bad the traffic jam was...however,once again , i got disappointed when my eyes swept across the display of books at the entrance...no trace of eclipse or any twilight series...obviously bestselling books like this won't need any trouble seeking...i didn't even bother to enquire the workers, my sis confirmed with them anw, still out of stock...same goes for popular at ikano...though i didn't know why i still had hope to visit the bookshop, obviously a shopping complex that crowded won't have the slightest chance to survive the most bestseller book for me...hmmm...i still didn't give up then, went to Borders to try out my luck...i thought i saw a trace of hope when i reached the entrance of the bookshop, i saw a row of books displayed right in the middle of the entrance, books with front pages of black and pictures of red and white ( a trade mark of twilight book series...) i quickened my pace, excited, only to end up even more disappointed...its a twilight series book alright, but its only 'new moon', still no sign of 'eclipse'...haih...i gave up then, after i decided that i could just borrow the book from ai shuen...

so, anyone who wants to purchase the books of twilight series, i suggest u to give up....almost all bookshops are out of stock...at least until two to three weeks time anw...chaoz^^

my second home...PMO...

Hee...pai seh...to post so soon after the last 1...just have a stirring of emotion and sudden passion towards pmo today...haha...after practising and all...feel so self-accomplished and have a clear goal to aim at...love hua yue!!!muakssss...

anyway...let's just start with my position at hua yue...hmmm...i start off playing liu qin (sth like pi pa but smaller)...with a very average level...means only 'ma ma dei' la...and kinda quiet(in means of pmo...quiet means not sot..)this is the situation of me until form 3...This year, however, things changes...and why is it so????because this year pmo is taking part in national competition, and only qualified (meaning enough skill) members are CHOSEN to have the honour to participate...there's only 2 liu qins in form 4 and none in form 5...and only 2 liu qins are required in taking part in competition...apparently, a form 4 member should be qualified enough to take part...but being just 'ma ma dei', shu huey n my junior who excels very well are chosen....thus, i lost my opportunity of my 1st time to take part in competition, and there's only me myself to blame for the loss...so, feeling abandoned and 'self-accusing', a second chance came upon me...they are short of 1 zhong ruan player since none of the form 3s nor ex-seniors are willing or able to play...so i was in, but to play zhong ruan...of coz, i seize the oppurtunity to participate...working very hard to catch up with others...because, although the technique and concept of playing liu qin and zhong ruan is almost the same, the skills required differ...zhong ruan is more bulky and the strings are thicker....being accustomed to liu qin smaller size and thinner strings, i soon find it hard for me to press on the string properly...so, i was obviously worst among the others, since i hav to start from getting used to the intrument 1st rather than work on the songs for competition...i struggled to keep pace with them, which only made me more frustrated and dissappointed with the outcome...furthermore, above all of that, time is losing its patience and the date of competition draws nearer and nearer...and, the 1 and only solution for my GIGANTIC PROBLEM is--- practise practise and PRACTISE...

determined not to let myself and my pals down, i accept the only solution available--practise and more practise...interceping with some advices and scolding from teacher and seniors and frens all along the 'journey'...thank god i improve, though still lacking from the required skill...and my dear, dearer, dearest ruan liu fellow frens help me a lot...at the same time brought me into sotsot-ness...i learnt that besides working on skill, i also have to work on feeling towards the music...that, i'm still straggling with now, though its much better when i 1st start off...hmmm,music is supposed to be enjoyed....not suffered...and playing music is not about playing out notes, its about expressing the melody and the feeling within...wa...very hard to understand hor....i also agree...what to do...no talent..play zhong ruan like robot onli...hocky also say i can't be good at everything...and music is not like add maths...it requires more than just a few formulae to solve the answer...

anyway...i felt kinda self-accomplished today...not that i had overcome all the problems i faced, its just that i FELT the music...especially since we had a specialised tutor of zhong ruan, i learnt a lot..haha...today he2 zhou4 dat time, i ENJOYED playing the music, not frustrated as i used to, because i managed to play almost everything ok-ly...i ENJOYED looking at mr.huang hong chang conducting the music, whose face fulled of exaggerated-and-kinda-funny-expressions...n of coz, i ENJOYED the flow of music, i ENJOYED hua yue, i was able to smile when playing music rather then frowning with my eyebrows drew together, and maybe i don't have to let my pals down after all!!!haha....

hmmm....dats y i'm happy to post twice today....haha...and i hereby promise to work very very very hard for hua yue and the competition, so that i won't regret anything in my life...hee...pmo is my second home...and 1 of the few societies that have less politic probs...those which i'm aware with anyway...dats y i love pmo...its a warm n loving n caring n sot-ing society...

all the best to hua yue!!!we r the champion!!!!(or will be anyway....)pmo!!!!!muaks muaks muaks!!!!

An Abnormal Bio Lesson...

2 days ago, which was thursday, we had our 1st ever outdoor lesson, and its bio lesson too!!!!interesting eh????but 'outdoor' doesn't mean lessons in forest in any other states....its just TAMAN JAYA...but still, its away from the school right???haha...

Anyway, the purpose of our taman-jaya-trip is to calculate the frequency, density, and percentage coverage of certain species of plant...dear puan see want us to do the investigation personally and did not hesitate to remind us SOOOOOO many times to bring our own insect repellant, umbrella and caps the day before the trip because she so kindly did not want to share hers with us.....haha....Anyway, only a few people brought that stuffs as they were not that essential...

After recess, we gathered ad set off into the super hot sun heading tamanjaya...supposingly, my group only made of 5 delicate girls, but due to some unexpected circumferences, we had to 'adopt' the guys into our group at the end, making our group the largest(i guess....)so, we set off to taman jaya, doing our best to avoid sunlight and mosquitoes...dear puan see kept to her word, she so 'generously' forbid us to share her BIG umbrealla, despite she was thin and there are much space under the umbrella...lol...she kept remind us to stay away from her afraid that we might attract mosquitoes to her...the 4 groups, each received a quadrat... Wei lian enthusiastically grabbed the pink 1 before anyone did, for his group, claming that its his favourite colour...well, erm....i'm sure a lot people want to erm...grab the pink quatrat from him???maybe....lol...anyway, we began our survey, choosing our spot of plants 'randomly', all some how turn out to be precisely under the sheds of tress and away from mosquitoes...lol...the, the countin began...wel, its not as easy as it seems, for you have to squat under the hot sun, counting the ever-so-similar-grasses while shooing away mosquitoes at the same time...and when you were done, you did not know which grass u've counted and which you haven!!!!well...come on!!!!all there's on the roud are grass and more grass, how to count???and it does not help the situation when most of the guys are so busy capturing and recapturing tiny little grasshoppers...or hopping around with the grasshoppers trying to catch them...(well, guys can be soooo childish sometimes!!!imagine there are already grasshoppers hopping around, and here several guys decided to join in their queue and so hopping here and there, following the grasshoppers....arghhh!!!) who claimed they are surveying the population of grasshoppers in taman jaya...lol...well, thank god i hav excellet counting aka 'estimating' skills!!!HA!! by multilying and adding and subtracting several lucky numbers of mine, we managed to get the results in a short time...for example, there's about 15 grass in a box...then there's about 80 boxes occupied with grass...so, there is a total of 1200 grasses on that spot!!!yeng leh...MUAHAHAHAHA...lol...

By the time we were sweaty and itchy from irritating mosquito bites, we returned to school...some how, this did not stop the guys from adopting several more grasshoppers back to school too...though how reluctant are the grasshoppers to leave thier comfortable habitat...once again, i'm dissapointed with supposingly-maturing-guys...haih...nevermind, because dear ronnie even decided that the gate that seperate taman jaya from the housing area is better off without its padlock and metal chain...he so kindly removed it and adopt it too, as from his point of view, it'll be a rather good tool as another billabong (a.k.a. toys-of-4s7)...well, who can stop him??? lets just hope that the lack-of-paddlock-and-chain-of-the-gate won't cause too much trouble or loss for the public...back into school, several activities were still going on...despite that bio lesson is over...some decided to disect grasshopper, some prefer trapping it in a bottle to see it wondering helplessly around in its chamber... or break its leg to see it limp around for mere pleasure...well...maybe guys think it was a way to have fun or show 'bravery' by torturing helpless creatures...haih....i dunno....because i think its kinda childish and cruel....don't u think so???vm if you don't...haih...

nevermind...despite several loss of lives of grasshoppers, or maybe blood(which was sucked by female mosquitoes)...this is still THE BEST BIO LESSON WE EVER HAD!!!!!ha!!!over all, its fun!!!!lalala...lalalalalalala.....haha.....sot d....coz finally finish typing this post in proper eng....so now dun care grammer le la.....haha.....lalala....lalalalalalala....bye!!!!
